In short

What is CrafterPayments?

In your game-server or digital-product store the buyer pays Crafter. We invoice and handle sales VAT; you withdraw your payout. No company required to start — as you grow, plan the tax side.

Don’t mix it up

  • It is not a bank product that drops card charges into your own merchant account.
  • It is not “tax-free forever without a company.”
  • It does not mean your payout is ignored for income tax.

What actually happens

  • The buyer purchases ranks, credits, keys or digital products from Crafter (Merchant of Record).
  • Crafter issues the player invoice.
  • VAT on that sale stays with Crafter.
  • You receive a payout; we recommend registering as a taxpayer as you grow.

Player sale

Invoice and sales VAT sit with Crafter. The player buys from Crafter.

Your payout

What you withdraw may be income. Plan taxpayer status as you grow.

Growth

A company is not required to use the product; it is the sensible next step for real turnover.

How it works

With your own POS you are the seller. With CrafterPayments the player buys from Crafter; you supply the content or server service and we pay you a payout.

That’s why you can open a store without incorporating first. It does not make the money you withdraw “tax-free” — only the player invoice and sales VAT sit with Crafter.

Who handles VAT?

VAT (and relevant foreign sales tax) on the player checkout is calculated on Crafter’s side. You are not expected to VAT-invoice the player.

If your own business grows, invoices you issue to Crafter or other activity is a separate topic — talk to an accountant.

Payouts and income tax

Crafter covering VAT does not mean amounts paid to you are not income. Expense vouchers and withholding document the payout; they are not a “no tax ever” stamp.

Crafter does not file your personal income tax.

When you grow

We don’t require a company for new servers. Once sales are regular and turnover is meaningful, register as a taxpayer so you can work invoiced if needed.

Thresholds are personal. This page is a plain explainer, not tax advice.

FAQ

No. Crafter accepts the card and sells to the player. You can still connect Shopier/PayTR/etc. if you want funds on your own merchant account.
